prAna: Styling Direction & Change Management

Project Overview

Following the end of my contract with prAna through my agency, I was directly hired as a consultant to assist them with a smooth transition to Columbia's in-house studio.

This project focused on optimizing prAna's internal workflow in preparation for their transition.

Key deliverables included developing a streamlined photoshoot schedule, creating a comprehensive style guide, executing the initial season's styling for the SS 25 collection, and establishing a project timeline and workflow framework for future seasons.

Operational Consulting:

Developed and implemented a comprehensive seasonal photoshoot calendar, considering product timelines, reorder schedules, and SKU counts.

Advised on optimal shoot days and daily SKU targets to maximize efficiency.

Created a standardized workflow and timeline for future seasons, including key meetings, decision-making processes, and team roles.

Key Contributions

Styling Direction

Developed a comprehensive Style Guide, providing evergreen detailed instructions on styling techniques for each product category and seasonal direction that spoke to color harmonies and key capsules.

Developed and styled 750+ looks for the SS 25 collection, including hero shots and complete head-to-toe outfits. Created detailed style guides for each look, including styling notes on tucking, cuffing, and fit, to guide the on-set styling team.

Curated and purchased all necessary styling accessories to enhance the visual appeal of the collection.
